Accounts Assistant - Sage / AAT - Birmingham

An Accounts Assistant, who is AAT qualified, has experience using Sage and, ideally, looking to get into management account work, is required by a manufacturing business based in the south of Birmingham. A salary of up to £23,000 is offered depending on experience.

You will be involved in financial reporting, preparing monthly accounts and illustrating KPI’s. You will be responsible for daily cash flow monitoring, opening customer accounts and running credit checks. You will have the opportunity to do some purchase ledger work, including invoicing and checking expense claims. You will also get the chance to work on VAT returns and stock takes.

Required Skills:
The Accounts Assistant will ideally have the following skills / qualifications:
-          AAT (or similar) Qualified
-          Experience working with Sage
-          Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 

Salary:
Basic salary to £23,000 + Benefits
